Binan High School is about to hold its monthly Pretty Boy Contest. The members of the Defense Club aren't particularly interested in the competition, but start the strategy meeting to lead the "Earth Defense Club's Strongest, Sexiest Zaou" to victory against the student council, whom they have a small rivalry with. Behind the scenes, Lord Zundar and the others have their eye on the ballet club advisor, who is spiraling in his attempts to become #1 Pretty Boy. On the day of the contest, as the winner is about to be announced...
Synopsis[edit]
The Kurotama Bath[edit]
Moteo Kurotori narrates about his likes and dislikes, before announcing that he'll win the title of Binan High School's #1 Pretty Boy. He pirouettes as En and Atsushi enter the changing room, and his towel falls to the floor. The boys look away, disgusted. Yumoto is confused why they would look away. After getting dressed off screen, Mr. Kurotori leaves the Kurotama.
In the bath, En and Atsushi discuss how the principal hired a ballet dance club advisor instead of a volleyball club advisor by accident. They then discuss the monthly Pretty Boy Contests.

Ryuu and Io are approached by Mr. Kurotori, who propositions them to join the Ballet Club. They consider joining, since when he's prompted Mr. Kurotori says there are profits from merchandise and 90% of ballet fans are women.
The student council oversees this, and Akoya says he had also been pestered to join the club. Kinshirou notes that the club doesn't have any members, and so they will have to shut it down. However, Ibushi notes that Mr. Kurotori probably isn't trying to recruit members, and instead is trying to build an army of fans to vote for him in the aforementioned contest.
Classroom 2-B[edit]
Io completes some calculations and determines he won't join the Ballet Club as it's not a good prospect, and Ryuu decides not to join because his ratio of being surrounded by girls would go down. A representative of the Pretty Boy Contest comes along and passes out forms to vote. Akoya teases Ryuu from the back of the classroom.
School Grounds[edit]
Yumoto is intercepted by Mr. Kurotori to join the Ballet Club. However, his attention is taken by the quality of the paper that Mr. Kurotori's flyers were printed on.
Club Room[edit]
Yumoto is folding all the clubs' flyers into paper airplanes, to determine which club he should join based off distance. The Ballet Club's flyer glides the farthest. Wombat is disappointed that he'd think of joining another club, as he used Mr. Tawarayama to submit the paperwork and make the Defense Club official. Yumoto explains he's bored because Wombat only allows cuddles once a day.
The discussion turns to the Pretty Boy Contest. Ryuu says he can't stand the idea of losing to Akoya. He speculates that the student council members get groups of students to vote for them, as the previous month he tied for third place with Akoya. En's interest is piqued, and so he decides to lead the club in a strategy meeting to get votes away from the student council because he's bored.
The club goes over what the definition of true popularity is, determining that they need to be popular with boys instead of girls, before coming up with a list of three requirements to be popular with men.
Gymnasium[edit]
En enters an arm wrestling competition against a member of the wrestling team. He is able to win by winking at his opponent.
Bathroom[edit]
Io approaches a student at the urinals and asks what he thinks of him. The student is confused, before Io asks again and reveals his very large bank statement. The rest of the Defense Club observes from over a stall.
Class 1-A[edit]
Ryuu approaches a set of triplets who are on cleaning duty, asking if they want a big brother and if they enjoy cleaning. They say that they don't, so Ryuu takes away their cleaning supplies, breaking a broom and a desk in the process, before leaving the classroom with them in tow.
The student council observes from the hall.
Gymnasium[edit]
Mr. Kurotori bemoans that no one showed up to his rally after he made a showing at the arm wrestling tournament. Lord Zundar and the student council observe from the balcony, before transforming and turning Mr. Kurotori into a monster.
School Grounds[edit]
The Pretty Boy Contest is underway, with everyone casting their votes. The wrestler, boy from the bathroom, and the triplets approach the Defense Club and say that they have their votes.
As the winner is going to be announced, the Black Swan Monster jumps onto the stage and announces himself the winner. He hits the student body with a feather to the heart, and all the boys swarm below him.
Caerula Adamas watches from on top of a stadium light, while Lord Zundar explains the plan.
The members of the Defense Club transform, catching the attention of the Black Swan Monster. The monster dodges Yumoto's attack, before sending out an attack of his own. The Battle Lovers sans Yumoto develop feelings for the monster and bicker over who loves him the most. Yumoto meanwhile says he doesn't understand these feelings, and is unaffected. He gives the monster a hug and says it feels better to love than to be loved, and his speech confuses the rest of the Battle Lovers enough that the spell wears off.
The Battle Lovers combine their Love Sticks, and Yumoto performs the Love Attack and Love Shower, leaving Mr. Kurotori laying in the dirt.
Caerula Adamas looks on from the stadium light, wondering who the Battle Lovers are.
The Kurotama Bath[edit]
Gora is outside chopping wood and asks Yumoto how the water is, to which he responds that it's perfect again.
En wonders what everyone washes first when they get into the bath, and everyone shares this information.
