LOVE! Anime Bonus Shorts

There are three shorts per volume of the first season of Cute High Earth Defense Club LOVE! which consist of the five members of the Earth Defense Club talking about a random topic while passing a volleyball between them. The shorts take place at different times of the day. The first is during the day, the second is at sunset, and the third is at night. Volumes one through three take place on Binan High School's sports field. For the fourth volume, the shorts take place on the beach. For the fifth volume, the shorts take place in Egypt with the pyramids and the sphinx in the background. For the sixth volume, the shorts take place on the moon with the Earth in the background, a blank white background, and the final short takes place back on the sports field during the day.

Volume One

Short 1

The Earth Defense Club discusses the title of the anime.

Short 2

The Earth Defense Club discusses what's considered strange or unexpected.

Short 3

Yumoto is asked if he considers certain things fluffy or not.

Volume Two

Short 4

The Earth Defense Club discusses how they didn't find out who won the Pretty Boy Contest. In addition, Atsushi says his segment in the episode would have been winning votes with curry, but it was cut.

Short 5

The Earth Defense Club discusses what their favorite foods are. Io's is gyudon and Ryuu's is cherries. Atsushi and En answer curry simultaneously, and get stuck in a loop of saying "Happy Ice Cream" to break the jinx.

Short 6

En says he's been thinking about something, and Atsushi asks if it's the tax increase, the Olympics, or his old-looking face. He's teased, before saying he's been thinking about volleyball.

Volume Three

Short 7

The Earth Defense Club says tongue twisters.

Short 8

The Earth Defense Club discusses the origin of their Battle Lover names.

Short 9

The Earth Defense Club discusses how all of these shorts feature them playing volleyball.

Volume Four

Short 10

The Earth Defense Club discusses being at the beach.

Short 11

The Earth Defense Club discusses who they think created the club's door sign.

Short 12

The Earth Defense Club discusses what their wishes and dreams are.

Volume Five

Short 13

The Earth Defense Club discusses where they would like to go in the world. Atsushi would go to America, specifically Times Square. Ryuu would go to Brazil, and Io would go to Switzerland. Yumoto says he would go to Tokyo, Kanagawa, and Saitama. En says he doesn't want to go anywhere.

Short 14

In Battle Lover transformation order, the Earth Defense Club starts humming their character songs over each other.

Short 15

En brings up how another reading of his name is "Kemuri" and how all the members of the Earth Defense Club share surnames with names of different onsen.

Volume Six

Short 16

The Earth Defense Club discusses how they're in an "SF" anime, and then brings up possible meanings to the term, such as "Science Fiction," "Space Fantasy," and "Special Friend."

Short 17

The Earth Defense Club passes the volleyball around in silence before commenting on the blank, white background.
