Io Naruko (鳴子 硫黄, Naruko Io) is a second year student at Binan High School. He transforms into Battle Lover Sulfur.

Appearance[edit]
Io has short, pale green hair with straight, choppy bangs and gray eyes.
His school uniform consists of a white, button down shirt, a dark red tie, and a black blazer with white buttons and trim. The school's insignia is on the left sleeve. He wears black slacks and a brown belt, and brown loafers.
Io has a Lovracelet on his left wrist. It is a white bracelet with a yellow heart in a gold frame, with white wings on either side and a small, golden crown on top.
During the second season, his Lovracelet is replaced with a True Lovracelet. The white bracelet is thicker. The yellow heart still has a golden border and crown and white wings, but has an added golden heart with gold wings on the bottom.
Battle Lover Sulfur[edit]
When transformed into Battle Lover Sulfur, Io wears a white shirt with short, puffed sleeves that have yellow cuffs above the elbows. He has a standing white collar, surrounded by a sailor-inspired collar in yellow that hangs down to cover his shoulder blades. At his neck is a yellow bow with a larger version of his Lovracelet. Below this is a white frill that goes down the front of his shirt. His six knee-length coattails are white on the outside and yellow on the inside. The whole shirt has black piping to separate the yellow from the white. Io wears white gloves and a brown belt with a decoration that resembles part of a sling for a sword's sheath. He wears puffy, knee-length shorts with yellow cuffs. He has yellow ankle boots with white boot covers that resemble shells. The soles are white.
Upon turning into his More Better form in Season One Episode Twelve, all yellow aspects of his outfit turn into a pale gold except for the gem on his brooch, which remains yellow. He gains a pair of white angel wings on his back.
In season two, more of Battle Lover Sulfur's outfit becomes yellow, such as the shoulders, standing collar, and coattails. The standing collar has black piping at the base. There are four gold buttons on his shirt, and no black piping. Once again, the yellow bow has a larger version of his True Lovracelet. There are frills around the bow that go over his shoulders and meet black piping on his back, replacing the sailor collar, in addition to frills on his gloves, which now have yellow cuffs around the wrists. The back of his coat now has white, puffy fabric wings at his waist. There is a yellow feather hanging from his belt. His boots are mainly the same, but below the boot covers are a single layer of white frill.
Upon turning into his Ultra More Better form in Season Two Episode Twelve, all yellow aspects of his outfit turn into a pale gold except for the gem on his brooch, which remains yellow. He gains two sets of fluffy, pink wings--one set on his shoulder blades, the other replacing the fabric wings at his waist. The latter have a set of long, pink tails that end in feathers.
