Ryuu Zaou (蔵王 立, Zaou Ryuu) is a second year student at Binan High School. He transforms into Battle Lover Vesta.

Appearance

Ryuu has spiky pink hair pushed back with a light colored headband, with some strands escaping in the front for bangs. When down, his hair is straight and almost touches his shoulders. He has brown eyes. The helix of each ear is pierced in two places with silver earring cuffs.

His school uniform consists of a white, button down shirt with the collar undone, a dark red tie that hangs loosely, and an open, black blazer with white buttons and trim. The school's insignia is on the left sleeve. He wears black slacks and a brown belt, and brown loafers.

Ryuu has a Lovracelet on his left wrist. It is a white bracelet with a pink heart in a gold frame, with white wings on either side and a small, golden crown on top.

During the second season, his Lovracelet is replaced with a True Lovracelet. The white bracelet is thicker. The pink heart still has a golden border and crown and white wings, but has an added golden heart with gold wings on the bottom.

Battle Lover Vesta

When transformed into Battle Lover Vesta, Ryuu wears a white shirt with short, puffed sleeves that have pink cuffs above the elbows. He has a standing white collar, surrounded by a sailor-inspired collar in pink that hangs down to cover his shoulder blades. At his neck is a pink bow with a larger version of his Lovracelet. Below this is a white frill that goes down the front of his shirt. His six knee-length coattails are white on the outside and pink on the inside. The whole shirt has black piping to separate the pink from the white. Ryuu wears white gloves and a brown belt with a decoration that resembles part of a sling for a sword's sheath. He wears mid-thigh shorts with pink cuffs. He has light pink ankle boots with pointed toes. The tongues are a darker pink, with silver buckles below them that attach a single layer of matching dark pink frills. The soles are tan.

Upon turning into his More Better form in Season One Episode Twelve, all pink aspects of his outfit turn into a pale gold except for the gem on his brooch, which remains pink. He gains a pair of white angel wings on his back.

In season two, more of Battle Lover Vesta's outfit becomes pink, such as the shoulders, standing collar, and coattails. The standing collar has black piping at the base. There are four gold buttons on his shirt, and no black piping. Once again, the pink bow has a larger version of his True Lovracelet. There are frills around the bow that go over his shoulders and meet black piping on his back, replacing the sailor collar, in addition to frills on his gloves, which now have pink cuffs around the wrists. The back of his coat now has white, puffy fabric wings at his waist. There is a pink feather hanging from his belt. He still has ankle boots with pointed toes, but they appear to be a shinier material. There is no dark pink. Instead, the tongue matches the rest of the boot, and there is a golden buckle with two layers of frills below it. The soles are a light gray.

Upon turning into his Ultra More Better form in Season Two Episode Twelve, all pink aspects of his outfit turn into a pale gold except for the gem on his brooch, which remains pink. He gains two sets of fluffy, pink wings--one set on his shoulder blades, the other replacing the fabric wings at his waist. The latter have a set of long, pink tails that end in feathers.
