Moon
Moon is the Earth’s only natural satellite. It has been the destination of the very first voyages into space – the first man to set foot on the surface was Rock Kita, a Japanese astronaut who managed to do this on July 18 1969 before the American crew could do it.[1]
On the surface, he met an alien suffering from cramps, whom he helped, thus establishing the first contact between Earthlings and aliens and kickstarting the era of space exploration – year 1969 became Galaxy Century 000. In thanks for helping, Rock was given an alien base which he used as foundation to earn a fortune on trade and establish a kingdom – Luna Land, which appears to be completely terraformed and well-developed.
Luna Land is ruled by the Kita family – first Rock, then his son Shicchi[2], and the prince in waiting is Hatchi. The royal family is protected by the loyal Luna Guard.
The Moon keeps diplomatic relations with the Earth and has a confirmed embassy in Neo-Tokyo. Representatives of the Moon, including prince Hatchi, were invited to attend a ceremony at the beginning of the Reiwa[3] era.
