Galaxy Highway
A Galaxy Highway is a route in space leading from Earth (with its Neo-Tokyo) to Trespuente,[1] conventionally agreed upon in order to facilitate transport, and travel. There are 53 stage station planets located on the Galaxy Highway with several more which do not have this status officially. Currently, due to the development of space tourism, multiple (if not the majority of) them are focusing on their tourism industry in hopes of attracting visitors.
There are several fees to be paid when traveling on the Galaxy Highway, collected at the Haccone Checkpoint: a toll for the hyperroad, transit fee, and an expressway charge. In addition, to pass the Haccone Checkpoint travelers must present a travel permit, unless they state they are on a pilgrimage to Isekandar.
In RobiHachi, the Galaxy Highway is based on the original Toukaidou road,[2] along which the heroes of Hizakurige traveled. Similarly, stage station planets are based on the stations of the Toukaidou.[3]
Galaxy Highway intersects with the Isekandar Highway at Hinaga Junction. Both groups (Robby, Hatchi, and Ikku, and Yang’s Finance) followed this way to reach their final destination.
