Hizakuriger (ヒザクリガー, Hizakurigaa) is originally a mecha robot from an old anime Galaxy Traveler Hizakuriger which combines from two separate small spacecrafts (a fighter and a bomber), each piloted by a different person. It comes equipped with a javelin, a beam ray, and a shield (the last one mentioned by Yokkamarchése Hizakuriger Archive club).
The robot which Robby and Hatchi find hidden on the Nagaya Voyager is actually only a full-sized figurine in the shape of Hizakuriger, built by Armeni from Yokkamarché, although it also combines from two small chasers which seem fully operational. It’s mostly empty inside and, unlike the original mecha, shouldn’t be used for fighting even though it is also equipped with a javelin and can withstand being subjected to the void (but not underwater pressure). However, the mounted beam-like weapon only flashes brightly without actually shooting.
Hizakuriger is meant to be piloted by two people at the same time, one in charge of the top part and the other of the bottom part, but it can be assumed at least the figurine can to some extent be piloted by one person only, and programmed to perform some basic movements without a pilot. It can be seen when Robby pilots the robot alone to reach Hatchi on Mars, and has Hizakuriger lower him and Miss Glamorous on its hand with no one inside to pilot it manually. It seems having two pilots is still more efficient, as suggested by the fact Hatchi piloted his half on Mulberry 8, even though he was very reluctant to do so.
