Karurusu de Yutarli Honyalala (カルルス・デ・ユターリ・ホニャララ, Karurusu de Yutaari Honyarara) is a prince who came to Earth to compete for the throne of Honyala Land by spreading happiness, and enlists the Earth Defense Club to be his knights. He has an otter form and a human form. He is the older brother of Furanui.

Appearance[edit]
In his human form, Karurusu has dark skin, light blond hair, and lilac eyes. His hair is fastened into a low hanging ponytail over his right shoulder with brown laces and thick, gold rings. At his left temple is a gold star with a butterfly wing on the right side. At the center of the star is a pink flower.
He wears a yellow crop top with black trim and short, scalloped sleeves. There are two pale yellow tassels hanging down from the front. Under this shirt he has longer, puffed sleeves that are yellow with billowing white fabric surrounding them. The white part of the sleeves are fastened with dark yellow pom poms. The sleeves are held in place with gold forearm guards.
Around his waist, Karurusu has a dark red sash and a short, yellow, scalloped skirt with black trim over white harem pants. The pants have a rounded triangle pattern in yellow with black outlines, the points starting mid-thigh and ending at the hem. He has yellow boots with pointed toes, brown soles, and a short, chunky heel. There are brown boot covers that go to about his knee, with darker brown laces keeping them tight. Each cover has a short yellow ribbon and a pale yellow pom pom.
Karurusu has a long white cape draped over his shoulders, tied on his left with two dark yellow pom poms. He also has a sheathed sword with a tan flower-shaped pommel and a curvy cross-guard in brown with two yellow circles. The sheath is tan with a dark yellow swirl pattern.
In his true otter form, he is has medium yellow fur with paler yellow around his mouth and chest. Karurusu has small, pointed ears and a long, thick tail. He has a brown nose, black eyes, whiskers, and a few lines of eyebrows. There is a pale yellow star in the middle of his stomach with a bright pink flower in the center. His back paws are brown.
Karurusu spends most of the series in his otter form.
